Computer Specialist Job Description:
Requirements are for Tier Level 1
and Level 2 end-user support. The
mission is time-critical and serves in an
military environment.
This candidate must:
· Have Security Plus
·
Have an understanding
of
military
computer support
·
Have
an active Secret Clearance
·
Possess
the ability to independently analyze and
resolve difficult issues and problems
· The ability to work independently in a Computer Laboratory Environment
·
Possess
good verbal and written communications
skills
·
Install, configure, and monitor local area
networks, hardware, and software
·
Collect, enter, and process information
using computers
·
Provide customer and network administration
services, such as electronic mail accounts,
user training, security, virus protection,
Common Access Card (CAC) access and
troubleshooting
·
Use computer programs to solve problems
·
Analysis
and solve computer programs
·
Provide system analysis and maintenance
·
Implement procedures to ensure computer and
network security
· Support client's military information technology mission
Requirements:
· CISSP
· Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
